Celebrate, show off your talents, meet your long distance cousins, exchange ginger facts, compare hue and generally make merry cos we can.
About this Event

It's about time red heads had a day dedicated to our uniqueness in the universe!
We'll meet on the upper part of Telegraph Hill Lower Park, close to the pizza place at the cafe. Bring a blanket and drinks to share! This is a child-friendly event!
There's scope for a Gingers Got Talent contest for the fun of it, and any other activities you'd like to offer: frisbee, three legged race, boules, ceilidh...use your inagination for ways to bring people together!
We embrace the full spectrum of the Red head gene expression: freckles, strawberry blonde, ginger beard, auburn, orange, red and all the shades in between.

However if you are blatantly a brunette, mousey, blonde, midnight, or any hair colour without an ounce of ginger, but you LOVE red heads / married a ginger / gave birth to orange tops / best buds with an upside down carrot, you will be considered an ally. You are kindly invited to FEED A GINGER on World Red Head Day! Pizzas and snacks welcome!
