Get ready for a fantastic, hands-on day out this summer!Colleagues and students from our Zoology programme at UWS are coming to Calderglen Zoo for an exciting day of interactive biology activities. Whether you are a budding scientist, a nature lover, or looking for a brilliant family day out, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
đŚ What is happening on the day?
Animal Handling: Get up close and personal with some incredible creatures.
Mini Bioblitzes: Join the race to find and identify as many wild species as possible in the area.
Microscopy: Take a closer look at the hidden world of aquatic and terrestrial organisms.
Short Talks: Hear from the experts about why protecting biodiversity matters now more than ever.
With expert input from Calderglen Zoo staff, UWS zoology academics, and the UWS Student Zoological Society, this is a unique opportunity to experience the world of biology in a whole new way.
