A helping hand. A thoughtful conversation. A good example. Small actions can make a meaningful difference in someone else’s day—and that difference can reach beyond the people we know.
Join us for a World Kindness Day Open House celebrating kindness, connection and the role each of us can play in building a more caring community.
Centered on The Way to Happiness—a common sense guide to better living, this gathering will explore how everyday choices can encourage trust, respect and cooperation. The guide’s 21 precepts include setting a good example, being worthy of trust and treating others as you would want them to treat you.
Whether you are an educator, parent, community leader, volunteer or simply someone who wants to make a positive difference, you are invited to join the conversation.
Meet neighbors, share ideas and consider practical ways to bring more kindness into your home, workplace and community.

Explore a common-sense approach to better living and discuss how everyday acts of kindness can strengthen relationships at home, at work and throughout our communities.
Educational Film Screenings
Enjoy film presentations that bring the event’s themes to life and provide a starting point for conversation about kindness, respect and personal responsibility.

Who Is This Event For?
Everyone interested in creating a kinder community is welcome, including parents, educators, students, volunteers, community organizations, and faith and civic groups. No prior familiarity with The Way to Happiness is needed.
