The Parish Center For The Arts in Westford MA is hosting a night of rhythmic excitement that is both a performance and an interactive experience.The first half of the event will be a 1 hour performance by the Drum Nomads ensemble, playing rhythms from various cultural traditions, including West African, Middle Eastern and Latin. We'll have the added bonus of an amazing dancer to accompany the drumming.
The 2nd half of the event will be a 1 hour drum circle which will be facilitated by the Drum Nomads, but everyone in the audience is invited to pick up one of the extra drums and join in creating rhythms together. No prior experience necessary. You can also bring your own drum or percussion instruments.
