World Diabetes Day: Shop For a Cause

Celebrate World Diabetes Day at One More Page Books! One More Page will be giving 15 percent of profits made on November 14th, 2024 both in person and online to T1International. Stop in to support both a local bookstore and diabetes advocacy work, it couldn't be easier!

T1International envisions a world where everyone with Type 1 Diabetes has access to essential resources like insulin, regardless of where they live. Founded in 2013, the organization promotes patient-led advocacy, supports local communities in asserting their rights, and engages in awareness campaigns to effect systemic change.

World Diabetes Day is celebrated annually on November 14th, the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, who co-discovered insulin along with Charles Best in 1922.
