Explore the working spaces where centuries-old techniques are practised alongside modern conservation and discover how these specialist skills protect the Cathedral and its surrounding estate for generations to come.

Please note, due to the nature of the buildings included in this tour, it is not fully accessible - it includes staircases and uneven floors, and steep slopes. Please call 01522 561600 if you have questions about joining this tour.

The tour will last approximately 60 minutes.

The tour costs £50 per person.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the tour start time. The meeting point will be in the works department courtyard at 28 Eastgate, LN2 4AA, where a member of staff will greet you.

Places are limited on each tour so it is recommended that you book in advance to guarantee a place.

Please note that tours may be cancelled at the Cathedral’s discretion.
