About this Event
This workshop equips knowledge workers with essential skills for using generative AI tools in their daily work. Led by Wei Chen, Associate Professor at UConn, this session will cover the basics of generative AI and its business applications in the first half. The second half of the workshop will feature 2-3 hands-on activities, guiding participants through using generative AI for specific tasks. By the end of the session, you'll leave with best practices and insights to reorganize your work using generative AI tools.

About the Speaker:
Wei Chen is an Associate Professor of Operations and Information Management at UConn's School of Business and the academic director of the UConn Digital Frontiers Initiative. His research focuses on platforms, crowds, FinTech, and the business applications of generative AI. Wei’s work has been published in leading academic journals, and he has received multiple awards for his contributions to the field.
