Course Overview
A large chunk of the ‘early session’ will be occupied with workshop participants getting to know one another, and with reflection on the aims of the workshop. Participants will also be asked what they hope to gain from the exercise.

Tools That Help Psychologically : This session will empower you to spot the warning signs of abuse and, it will also give your co-workers one of their best emotional tools – the thing that keeps employees loyal even to bad bosses and other stressors they would otherwise want to escape.
Take Note Of Key Mechanisms : Over here, you learn that, if and when you get abused, you will never be alone: forces are always there to lower the abuser’s high-power standing.
Difference Between Abuse And Disciplinary Action : If there is abuse, it tends to be that subordinates are the victims of abuse, not that power is exercised so as to frustrate them.
And yet it is also a mistake to think that impressionable subordinates can be directed to do anything except play a role that is harmful to them by a supervisor, and thus an abuse of her power… During this session, you will have explored and distinguished between the abuse of power and what is sometimes required of supervisors or subordinates as power is exercised.
