Tech is an ever increasing influence on our lives, and is a great career for young people to get into. Tech covers a wide range of careers.
Through this event you'll get to visit three fantastic local companies in Palmy to learn first hand what careers in tech look like as well as hear from some great speakers.
This event is for people who are involved in advising young people about their choice of careers. We want to showcase to you what careers in Tech look like so you can then pass this information on to your young people. If you are a careers advisor, interested teacher, someone who works with young people, or even a parent of someone who is considering a career in Tech then this event is for you.

Here's what the event will look like
We’ll kick off the event with everyone meeting at UCOL.
9:15 – 9:30: Arrive at UCOL
9:45 – 10:15 Visit Company 1 (Yorb)
10:30 – 11:00 Visit Company 2 (Beta Solutions)
11:15 – 11:45 Visit Company 3 (Nodero)
12:00 – 12:30 Tour of UCOL facilities
12:30 – 12:40 Tech Step Presentation
12:40 – 1:00 Panel Discussion
1:00 – 1:30 Lunch & Networking

At each company you'll be able to get a feel about what it is like to work in Tech.
