Working Equitation

Join us at Stretcholt Equestrian for a friendly and supportive Working Equitation and Horsemanship Clinic with Jennie Blakehill.
These clinics focus on developing clear communication, confidence, and partnership through practical exercises both on the flat and around obstacles. Sessions are tailored to the horse and rider combination, making them suitable for those completely new to Working Equitation as well as riders wanting to refine their skills.
Topics may include:
• Lateral work and rider aids
• Obstacle training
• In-hand and ridden exercises
• Confidence and relaxation
• Improving responsiveness and balance
• Building practical horsemanship skills for all disciplines
Jennie is a Level 1 Working Equitation Accredited Instructor, Reserve National Novice Champion 2024, and has over 10 years’ experience teaching ethical, horse-centred training methods.
All types of horses and riders welcome. A relaxed atmosphere with plenty of encouragement and individual support.
