Nationally (about 1 in every 14 people ) have had a parent incarcerated at some point in their lives, and these stats are concentrated in Black and Brown communities.

That's one reason why we're putting on this one of a kind evnet.

When a parent is incarcerated, caregiving responsibilities often shift to grandparents or extended family, placing additional financial and emotional strain on already under-resourced households.
