Since 2014, the Exchange Gallery has hosted about 90 open-call shows, and more than 1,600 people have exhibited work here. We have immense gratitude for each and every one of you; we very literally would not have a Gallery without you, the artists, who have shared thousands of artworks and thousands of stories. You bring life life to this space; you are the heartbeat of The Exchange. Now we ask you to reflect on us: What do The Exchange and the Exchange Gallery mean to you as an artist? How has exhibiting in this space changed your experience of art, whether making art or displaying art or looking at art or thinking about art? Have you formed new relationships through your experience at The Exchange? For the show [tentatively entitled] “Exchange of Talents”, we look forward to your artwork that speaks to these questions.
All media accepted, 2D and 3D, up to the size of our front door. Work from ALL artists of all ages and levels of experience encouraged.
Work due Saturday, May 2nd; the show runs Monday, May 4th, through Friday, June 12th, with a reception on Friday, June 5th.
