Work due for "Entrances"

We observe them, we perform them, we dress for them: Entrances are part of our daily lives knowingly or unknowingly. Beautifully decorated doors attract the eye and give us pause to ponder what lies beyond them. Painstaking preparation of our clothing and personal appearance becomes a purposeful performance with the goal of making just the right entrance into a room. Foreboding and dark spaces make us wary of what is beyond that dark entrance.
Do you walk quietly or boldly into a room? Is it an invisible passing from one moment in time to the next? What entrance spikes your imagination?
Work due by Saturday, January 9th.
The show runs Monday, January 11th, through Friday, February 12th, with the reception from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 5th .
