As part of its mission to bring the arts to all communities throughout our region, The Exchange has hosted a monthly Blues/Americana/Roots Listening Room in its storefront art gallery on Main Street in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, since the summer of 2017.
On December 16th, 2026, we welcome RICK FINK to Bloomsburg for the first time.
$10 donation at the door, BYOB permitted.
Find videos of dozens of earlier concerts at youtube.com/@exchangearts.
------------------------------------
“Gritty Folk-Blues with theatrical flair, beat-poet swagger, and wildly engaging songs full of edge, humor, and raw heart.” -- The Folk Project
“Punk Americana” was the ethos for Rick Fink’s former Roots/Rockabilly band, Gas House Gorillas, and it’s something that he carries into his solo work. Still driven by a DIY work ethic, the gonzo days of crowd surfing and bombast have been replaced by something more personal -- a world where the song is king and soulful connection is everything.
Rick's sets are still filled with singalongs and joking asides, but with more heart and quiet honesty. Clever wordplay is anchored to Beatles-esque melodies, subtle and spare. Often stopping midsong to share a thought or observation, Rick treats every audience as if they are sitting in his living room sharing stories and having a laugh.
Rick’s first album, "The Infinite Now & Then", was released in 2019. His latest EP, "Welcome to the World", is available for download and streaming on Bandcamp. CDs are available at shows and upon request. His former band, Gas House Gorillas, toured regularly across the U.S.A. and Europe. Rick continues to tour solo throughout the Midwest & regionally; recent shows include The Big Bend Blues Bash in Pomeroy, Ohio, The Bitter End in New York City, and house concerts in and around his hometown of Brooklyn, as well as into Michigan and Illinois.
