Artist-in-residence Martha Sakellariou invites you at her Cubberley art studio to explore books, text and visual arts.

Martha will share how reading fuels her creative process and spotlight key books that have inspired her projects. We will look at other artists who incorporate text and literature into their work and experiment with words and images in a creative exercise.

Tea and basic materials provided. Share a favorite book or text that inspires you.

This session is suitable for adults and ideal for those who:

• Have an interest in exploring the creative connection between books and visual art
• Want to learn more about interdisciplinary artistic processes
• Want to explore their creativity using books as inspiration
• Enjoy storytelling and imagination
• Have ideas they would like to share!

The workshop will take place 11-12:30 Friday October 18th, at the artist's studio, E7 4000 Middlefiled Rod
