Come join Mary Whalen and Denise Tackett for an afternoon of cyanotype-making and creative writing. Your handmade cyanotypes will serve as unique writing prompts.
A cyanotype is a striking, historic photographic process dating back to the 1800s that uses sunlight to develop rich blue-toned images. In this workshop, you’ll create your own cyanotype prints using botanicals as subjects while exploring the history and creative potential of this deceptively simple, beautifully distinctive medium.
