Word Vancouver

Word Vancouver, Western Canada's largest FREE literary Festival, returns to UBC Robson Square on Saturday September 19th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Events with authors of all genres, editors, publishers, and people from all aspects of the literary world will take place throughout the day. Outside in the covered rink area, we'll host a robust exhibitor space with over 60 representatives from publishers, artisans, authors, magazines, and so much more! We have a poetry tent and a children's tent, both of which will feature authors all day long.

Learn how to pitch your book to a publisher, hear readings from local authors, participate in a family-friendly comic jam, shop for books with our bookseller Cross and Crows, and meet and talk with all literary types!

Word Vancouver is free to attend and everyone is welcome.
