Your work will contribute to a living heritage project that transforms trees into a standing timber frame building.
What you’ll learn:
• The basics of timber frame construction
• How to scribe and cut traditional joints
• Use of hand tools: axes, chisels, and saws
• Early medieval methods of marking and measuring frames
• Collaborative building techniques leading to a frame raising
No prior experience is required. A general level of fitness is recommended due to the physical nature of the activity.
Booking required, £180, including a hot beverage and refreshments.
