Woodworking Joinery - Dovetails 101

Join us at M2 Lumber for an exciting in-person event where you can learn the art of dovetail joinery! Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is perfect for you. Our instructors will guide you through the process as you create strong and beautiful dovetail joints.

You'll learn various techniques, tips, and tricks to master this essential woodworking skill. The Tools used in this class will be:

Chisels
Dozuki Saws
Layout Tools
Coping Saws

Each student will make their own through dovetail joint sectional piece (two pieces of wood at 90 degrees). We will discuss other style as well including, half-blind, full-blind, and mitered dovetails. We will also show and demonstrate different power tools that can be used to make dovetail joints as well.
