Charcuterie Board Class

This is an introductory class for woodworking with a focus on safety and the use of common power tools including:

Saws: Jig saw and Band Saw

Planers

Drill Press

Routers

Sanders

This class is designed for someone with little to no woodshop experience and is designed to help boost your confidence by teaching when to use and how to use common woodshop tools safely.

Class will be held in the shop (there is no AC but we do have fans)

You must wear close toed shoes long pants and no loose fitting clothes. No dangling jewelry, and all hair needs to be pulled back above shoulder length.

No one under the age of 13 is allowed to take the course at this time, under the age of 18 will require the consent of an adult as well as participation from the adult at the same time of the class.

All of those registered for the class will be required to sign a liability waiver in case of injury. However we will cover extensively how to safely do woodworking without injuring ourselves and the goal is to never have any injuries!

If you have any sort of disability please contact me and let us know ahead of time to see if it is feasible for you to participate in these classes. If we determine that your disability may increase risk of you injuring yourself you may not be allowed to participate in the class and your payment will be refunded.

Notice of Cancelation

In the event that we do not have at least 50% class registration up to 3 days before a class is scheduled to begin, we reserve the right to cancel the class. We try our best not to do this, but our classes are fairly innexpensive and we cannot justify the cost of teaching most of them with only a few people present. You will be notified and refunded 100% if this happens.
