Turn a simple block of wood into a charming three-dimensional reindeer decoration.
About this Event

Build your bandsaw skills while making a wooden reindeer decoration. Students will learn to make straight and curved cuts using a narrow ⅛-inch blade, cutting a pattern on successive faces of a 2-by-4-inch wood block to create a three-dimensional reindeer. Instruction will focus on safe tool use, controlling the workpiece, and following the pattern through each stage of the cutting process.

After cutting, students will sand their reindeer and take home finishing oil to complete the project.

Bandsaw and spindle sander certification is available to Spark members who demonstrate safe use during class.
