Wooden spoons have many meanings: love, prosperity and joy to name a few. Join us as we learn about the history of the wooden spoon, the different types of wood used in wood carving and the pros and cons of each. After that, we will sit by the fire, using hot coals to aid us in carving our spoons while we enjoy hot beverages.
Fee: $5 per person.
Age: Ages 10 and older. Children younger than 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Registration required by Sunday, Nov. 16, by calling 708-946-2216 or online: https://anc.apm.activecommunities.com/fpdwc/activity/search/detail/9799?onlineSiteId=0&from_original_cui=true
We will be using pocketknives during this program.
