Wonder Woman - A 6 session group for women
About this Event
Through the portal of breath work, meditation, sound, group-encounter, movement and embodiment exercises, we will meet ourselves and each other at depth. The space will be safe, beautiful, uplifting and enlivened, allowing us to connect, celebrate and grow each other.
In community, we will welcome all of who we are, challenge our thinking, and let go of all what no longer serves us.
We may laugh, we may cry, we may risk revealing ourselves. We will remember all of who we truly are.
Week One - Feminine:
What is it to be a woman in the modern world, to live life in a female body? What do you long for and what do you want to let go of?
We will explore within ourselves what our current experience is, with its joys and challenges.
We will share with and witness each other. We will imagine and envision how we might like it to be. What would we need to cultivate in ourselves to live the version of woman that we might aspire to.
Week Two - Wild:
What does it mean to you to be a wild woman? What would a wild version of you look like and what inhibits that energy in you? We will tap into the energy of the wild in the session and look at ways to bring it into our lives.
Week Three - Power:
What would it be like to stand in our own personal power and live from that place with autonomy and grace? Where and how do we give our power away? We will evoke the energies of our own power so that we can claim it in our own lives.
Week Four - Beauty:
What are the stories that you tell about yourself in relation to the concept of beauty?
We will expand our definition of beauty beyond the confines of limiting societal standards.
We will open our eyes and awareness to the abundant beauty that exists within and all around us. Through this recognition we cultivate a sense of awe, we will embrace the mystery of our lives.
What is your vision for yourself and your life from a place of beauty and abundance?
Week Five - Body:
Our body is our home. How can we tend to it? What gets in the way of us loving the body we have? We will learn to look at our body through the eyes of the heart. We will soften our resistance to loving our body as it is right now.
Week Six - Integration:
The intention is that this will be an uplifting group experience. We will not shy away from the challenges we face, the stories we tell, the feelings we have, that are heavy and dark.
We will honour the places in us that have felt injured or terrified. There may be tears, there may be rage.
All is welcome and as we connect with and grow the parts of ourselves that are bigger and stronger than all of that, we will take care of those smaller parts offering them love and acceptance that may have been missing. So that we may live from a more integrated, loving and graceful way.
