Curve Womxn Xmas in ElthamDistance/ vert: 67km/ 1200vm
When: 15th December @830am
Start: Eltham Station
Finish: Third Chapter, 26 Commercial Pl, Eltham.
Surface: Sealed and gravel roads, bike paths and (mostly) optional single track.
What to ride: Gravel bikes with >= 40mm tyres will work best.
Road bikes only for uncontrollable hellcats!
Ride Difficulty: Easy, BUT please note there is a little climbing in this route, most of the single track is optional.

Who can come: This ride is for all women/trans/non-gender conforming cyclists.
This route is intentionally a tasting plate of roads, groads, bike paths and optional single track. It's a little climby, but this just means you will work up an appetite for a festive lunch at Third Chapter in Eltham where the ride ends.

THE IMPORTANT STUFF
Curve will put this social ride on Sunday 15 Dec 2024. We would love to see you there. Our goal is to get as many people off the couch as possible to explore a slightly more adventurous and fun side of cycling. If you're coming along, please be self-sufficient and remember that this is a fun social ride - not a race in any way, shape or form. While some of the Curve squad will be riding, there is no formal organisation - it will just be like you're out riding with your mates - nothing more. Please, have the route on your Garmin/ GPS Device.
Please pay careful attention to the route. If you don't have a Garmin/ GPS Device, ride with someone that does. Take it easy on the shared paths and look for pedestrians, animal life, and other locals. Look for traffic, and look after others riding with you on main roads. Use a bell when possible to alert others to your location. Make sure you have anything to fix a flat/your bike; we don't have any support or a vehicle to pick you up.
