Describe the limitations and clinical integration of the following ultrasound examinations:
Achilles tendon
Plantar fascia
Calf muscles
Forefoot
Lateral and medial ankle joint and ligaments
Use a systematic approach to conduct ultrasound assessment of
a) Gross muscle tears
b) Bursitis
c) Joint effusions
d) Tendon injury
e) Fractures
Demonstrate ultrasound guided needle placement in- plane and out of plane for musculoskeletal injections as practiced on ultrasound simulators
Describe the optimum patient positioning and needle approach for common injections
