WOMENVAI x UCL: Collaborative Risk Mapping Workshop 2026
About this Event
Hosted by WOMENVAI in partnership with University College London, this interactive challenge will focus on the impacts and vulnerabilities associated with El Niño. Working in teams, participants will contribute to a large-scale collaborative risk map, identifying the direct and indirect effects of climate-related hazards across environmental, social, economic, and humanitarian systems.
Using systems thinking and collaborative risk mapping techniques, participants will examine how interconnected risks emerge and affect different communities around the world, while contributing to the development of innovative approaches for understanding complex risk landscapes.

Who Should Attend?
This workshop is open to students and recent graduates from all disciplines. No specialist expertise is required—participants with interests in climate change, sustainability, resilience, disaster risk reduction, policy, international development, engineering, geography, social sciences, and related fields are encouraged to apply.
