Captain Jennifer Boswell with Roanoke City Police Department and her team have designed clinics to help you recognize bad situations and to have a mental plan in order to survive. Participants are taught simple crime prevention tips, as well as basic defensive tactics with the aim of getting away from an attacker to then call for help.
Come on out to our Women's Safety Clinic to learn simple crime prevention tips, how to avoid certain situations, and what to do if you're in them. This class will be lecture style, and you will also learn defense positions and moves.
