Obtaining your Hunter Education Certification is the first step to becoming a successful hunter, and is required by law. After a couple of very successful courses last year, we have once again partnered up with our friend Kirsten Miller from Colorado Parks & Wildlife to host a private Hunter Education Course for our Rocky Mountain Sportswomen!
This course will take place at the Routt County Rifle Club in Steamboat Springs, Colorado on Saturday, March 15th 8:00am-5:00pm through Sunday, March 16th 8:00am-3:00pm with a conclusion course at the gun range. Bringing your own gun is NOT required! Colorado Parks and Wildlife will provide a rifle for each participant to use for the conclusion course. There will be a lunch break at 11:20-12:15, but we recommend bringing your own lunch so that we can stay on schedule at the Rifle Club. By completing this course you will receive your official certification and will be able to buy and apply for hunting licenses.
