The Women’s Fly Fishing Foundations Series is a 4-week course designed to help beginner and aspiring anglers build real understanding, not just surface-level skills. You’ll learn how fly fishing actually works, so you can step onto the water with confidence.

Hosted at the beautiful Gallatin River Lodge, this small-group series blends structured education with a relaxed, social atmosphere.

No experience or gear required.

What You’ll Learn

Each session builds on the last:

• Week 1: Gear, equipment, and fly rod anatomy
• Week 2: Entomology, fly selection, knots, and rigging
• Week 3: Trout habitat, reading water, and river etiquette
• Week 4: Intro to fly casting and mending

What’s Included

• 4-week guided curriculum
• Small group instruction
• One glass of wine per session (non-alcoholic option available)
