Women of Dorset Workshop, Shaftesbury

Women of Dorset is developing a fierce new play, to be performed by 3 professional actors and a community chorus of Dorset women, using text, song and movement.
To do this, we are running FUN & FREE WORKSHOPS for women across the county.
The workshops will explore previously untold stories of women who have lived, loved, worked, survived and thrived across Dorset.

This is an opportunity for you to share your stories of historical women and, if you’d like to, experience being part of an ensemble, which will entail: bringing historical scenes to life and exploring how stories are told through movement.
