Come along to the Women in Surgery Symposium 2026 on 30 August for a day of all things surgery, skills, stories and seriously good advice 👩⚕️🩺✨
We’ll be bringing together inspiring women in surgery to share their experiences, career journeys and the things they wish they knew as medical students 💬💡 There’ll also be an interactive panel Q&A 🙋♀️🎤, so this is your chance to ask the questions you actually want answered — from getting involved in surgery and navigating training to life outside the hospital.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a surgery event without getting hands-on 🧤🔪 We’ll be running three surgical skills workshops throughout the day, giving you the chance to learn, practise and build confidence in a fun and supportive environment 🪡🩹
Whether you’re set on surgery, still figuring things out, or just keen to try something new, we’d love to have you there 💗✨
