Mystery authors Leslie Meier, Joanna Schaffhausen, and Marcy McCreary in conversation at Thayer Public Library Monday, Sept. 30, 6:30-8 pm. Leslie Meier (Braintree) draws heavily on her experience as a mother of three and her work as a reporter for weekly newspapers when writing the Lucy Stone mysteries. Her brand-newLucy Stone book is Patchwork Quilt Murder, #30 in the series.
Joanna Schaffhausen (Canton) created two police detective heroines, Ellery Hathaway and Annalisa Vega, each with their own series. Her latest mystery, All the Way Gone, just out in April, is fourth in the Annalisa Vega series.
Marcy McCreary (Hull) presents a father-daughter team -- Detective Susan Ford pairs up with retired Detective Will Ford for the Ford Family Mystery series. The Summer of Love and Death is the third book, newly released in August 2024.
