Through poignant correspondence and heartfelt monologues, Women and War brings to life a tapestry of fictional stories rooted in historical truths. Spanning generations, this reader’s theater production gives voice to American women whose lives have been shaped by conflict—from The Great War to the War in Afghanistan. Housewife to factory worker, young bride to nurse, mother to widow, and now, soldier, their stories explore love, sacrifice, determination, and hope in the face of unimaginable trials. Filled with intricate sound design, projections, and pictures, this remounting of HART’s 2018 production is back by popular demand for one weekend only!
