Amy Pabst is a fiber artist who creates quilts to hang on the wall with emphasis on form rather than function. She has exhibited her work internationally, most recently at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, England. Her first book, The10,000 Pieces Project, was published in 2020 by Quiltmania Editions. Her work explores feminist themes, with a focus on women's work in the context of fiber arts and textiles. Amy has been honored with recognition in the form of 2024 West Virginia Folk Artist of the Year from the Governor's Awards for the Arts. In 2025, she won Best Use of Color at the American Quilter's Society Quilt Week in Daytona Beach, FL. She grew up in rural WV, where the strong regional heritage of quilt making continues to inform her processes. Amy is a graduate of Marshall University with a BFA in visual art/fibers and minors in English and Women's Studies. Her artwork can be viewed on Instagram @amymakesquilts. 6-9: Reception open to the public, light refreshments provided
