The NRA’s Women On Target® Instructional Shooting Clinics are hands-on, non-judgmental events exclusively for women to learn firearm safety and marksmanship. Whether a complete beginner or a refresher, participants enjoy a safe, supportive environment with one-on-one instruction and all necessary gear provided.
Why Attend a Clinic?
Zero Experience Needed: No prior knowledge or equipment is required; loaner firearms, ammunition, and eye/ear protection are provided.
One-on-One Guidance: Work directly with certified instructors in a comfortable, pressure-free setting.
Try Different Disciplines: Experience pistols, rifles, shotguns, or even archery depending on the host club's event.
Build Lifelong Confidence: Learn proper grip, stance, and trigger control while understanding the essential link between mindset and marksmanship.
What to Expect
Classroom Session: Start with an engaging, thorough overview of the NRA’s fundamental gun safety rules, safe storage, and firearm operation.
Live-Fire Range Time: Put theory into practice with supervised, hands-on target shooting.
