A peaceful riverside walk, and two Dales. Your chance to take a deep breath and pause before we get too deep into the festive season.Starting at the beautiful Peak District Village of Hartington, we head out for a circualr route through Wolfscote Dale and Biggin Dale before heading back into Hartington Village, which will no doubt give us all the festive feelings at this time of year! You are welcome to don your tinsel and a santa hat if you want to!
Distance: approx 9.5km
Elevation: approx 250m total over the course of route (all gentle undulation)
Grade: Light Hiking. Mostly easy footpaths and trails with some gentle uphill sections. Some sections of the paths will be a little uneven underfoot at times, may be some slightly muddier sections if there has been recent rain.
Time: 10am start for up to 4 hours. Note we will meet by 9.50am to leave at 10am.

I’m Sara and I’m a Hill and Moorland Leader based in West Sheffield on the edge of the Peak District. I’ve always been active but hiking became a real passion and I’m excited to share my love for adventure with you!
