A group of musicians who put equal emphasis on "acoustic", "Beatles" and "shambles".The Acoustic Beatles Shambles grew from a chance meeting at an after hours music session at a Watlington pub. It is not a Beatle tribute band as such. There are no electric guitars, no drums, and no pretensions to be a slick note-for-note reproduction. Rather it reflects that Beatle songs have become a folk music of our time. The audience is involved in choosing from the 188 original and 25 cover songs recorded and released by the band between 1962 and 1970. The spirit of the Beatles is particularly reflected in the blend of the voices of 4 people spanning generations who all grew up loving the music.
