Registration for the Spring Season of Western NC Pagan Choir is now open!
This spring, we'll be singing the land awake again by learning songs for the Irish festival of Bealtaine, songs for blooming and movement, and songs for fire and sensuality. We’ll finish our season with a ritual for Bealtaine and the entry into the high times of summer.
We meet in Weaverville, North Carolina (about 8 miles North of Asheville). All voices and varying levels of singing experience are welcome! Beginning March 30th!
WNC Pagan Choir is a community choir open to all voices in which we sing together to celebrate the magic of the natural world, inspired by folk & pagan traditions of Northwestern Europe. We meet for 8 week seasons, learning songs themed around earth-based spirituality and pagan holidays such as Samhain, Bealtaine and Imbolc. Along the way, we learn about the authentic traditions and practices of these holidays. This is a directed space, where we learn together by ear, singing rounds, chants, folk songs and layered songs with three and four-part harmonies.
