WLN's 15th Annual Leadership and Activist Training Conference

Since 2010, Western Liberty Network's annual conferences have brought top-flight activist training and national-caliber speakers to our area. Always themed, "TAKE THE OFFENSIVE!," The purpose of our conferences is to provide you with the information and inspiration you need to be politically successful where you live in the coming election cycle, impact your state legislature and local governments, and apply limited-government solutions to difficult local problems which impacts impact a community's quality of life.

This year, WLN's 15th Annual Conference will be held at 9 am on Saturday, February 1st, 2025 at the Holiday Inn Portland Columbia Riverfront hotel, located at 909 N Hayden Island Drive in Portland. Your admission will include access to all events, an event badge, a great buffet lunch, and an attendee packet packed with useful information! A free ice-breaker reception at the conference hotel will take place at 7 pm on January 31st with hot appetizers, live jazz music, and a no-host bar where you can mix with trainers, featured speakers, and fellow activists.

There will be 20 breakout sessions, each led by experts in their respective fields, organized along four tracks of instruction (you can mix and match throughout the day). They include: 1) How to Get Elected to Local Office in 2025, 2) How to Govern Effectively Once Elected, 3) Limited-Government Solutions to Difficult Local Problems and, 4) How to Lobby Your State Legislature and Local Governments.

There will also be three assemblies during the day where national-caliber speakers will give you important information to use in the coming year. Planned speakers currently include Journalist, podcast host, and contributor to Fox News, CNN and the New York Post Mary Katherine Hamm, Sr. Economic Advisor to President Donald Trump, Fox News Contributor, and co-founder of the Club for Growth Stephen Moore, former Sr. Economic Advisor to Vladimir Putin (before he defected to the USA) Andrei Illiaronov, and WLN Executive Director, OGEC commissioner, and former candidate for Oregon governor, Richard P. Burke. As the speaker list evolves and speakers are confirmed, it will be noted on the www.westernlibertynetwork.org website.
