New year new Wednesday’s meeting! On the 11th of March we will have the second edition of our monthly Witchcraft Wine Wednesday, hosted by Kári Pálsson and Giorgia Sottotetti. The well known pair will talk about their books and their studies of witchcraft, introducing us to the world of Icelandic traditional magic. Spells will be casted in a laid back mood, always accompanied by wine curated by the sommeliers of Port9.
For this monthly meeting be ready to be enchanted, to learn more about magic but also prepare your story! We want to offer you the opportunity of an open mic to tell us about your folklore! A story your grandma from Seyðisfjörður told you when you were small? A legend from the deep countryside of your home country? We want to hear it all!
Kári Pálsson and Giorgia Sottotetti will sale books during the event!

A passionate speaker at the National Museum of Iceland, Giorgia Sottotetti is an Italian archaeologist who holds an MA in Viking and Old Norse Medieval Studies obtained at the University of Iceland.
