Join us for a breakfast event that highlights the importance of communication in the tech industry – this time in Turku! As we all know, communication can be challenging and being a good communicator is a valuable asset. It leads to successful projects, satisfied customers, and a safe work environment where everyone feels heard. In this breakfast event we discuss the value of good communication from different viewpoints.
Our main speaker Elisa Heikura, also known as Koodarikuiskaaja, will start the event with an insightful look into women’s way of communication and what superpowers and pitfalls it might have. Next, we hear about successful communication tools Aleksis Tulonen, our Delivery Lead at Taiste, has gathered over the years from his roles at product development. For the last part Tiina Viljakainen, our Lead Designer at Taiste, will join Aleksis and Elisa for a discussion: Is it possible not to fail in communication?

Elisa Heikura
Elisa Heikura is known as Developer of People. She has a background in the humanities and has worked over 10 years in the tech industry bridging the gap between technical proficiency and essential interpersonal skills. Elisa brings a softer perspective to the hard technical world, teaching communication, teamwork, and self-awareness. Passionate about empowering all genders in tech, she is dedicated to fostering inclusive and collaborative work environments.
Aleksis Tulonen
Delivery Lead at Taiste
Aleksis had a long career as a tester and then moved smoothly to the positions of project manager and delivery lead at Taiste. Aleksis' strength is solving problems with the help of digital services and outsourcing internal memory to physical surfaces.
Tiina Viljakainen
Lead Designer at Taiste
Tiina Viljakainen is a UX Designer and UX Researcher with a strong experience in user interfaces, service design and graphic design. She has worked with a wide array of business from global brands to local businesses. In addition, she has background in marketing and advertising.
