Managing emotional dysregulation is stressful, distressing, and exhausting. How can we prevent the escalation? Or if not possible, how do we de-escalate a situation safely?
This workshop considers how we can recognise the signs early enough to prevent the meltdown behaviours, and when we can't, how to manage a crisis using low arousal strategies and techniques.
These sessions are open to all parent carers in Somerset who have a child with additional needs and/or a disability.
