In the same way that the darkness of the night gives us rest and dream time, so too the dark half of the year gives us an opportunity to pause, rest and rejuvenate. Just as the oak tree stays alive over the winter by stripping itself of leaves and using almost no energy, we too can look for opportunities during this autumn-winter period to enter a place of stillness and simply be utterly present in this moment.

This Wise Woman yoga workshop led by offers you that opportunity, to pause, rest and rejuvenate, it is suitable for all women, particularly those transitioning through menopause and beyond. We shall be tuning into our breath to still the mind, moving through a sequence of gentle asanas to warm the body, releasing into a series of restorative postures to passively stretch and finishing with a long nourishing and illuminating yoga nidra. Leaving us with a deep sense of serenity and renewal.
