Winthrop University Ghost Tours 2026

The Student Alumni Council is excited to host this year's Ghost Tours, a night full of frightening twists and turns as we share Winthrop's most haunting stories. All proceeds benefit the Winthrop Fund, which provides immediate support to students and the university.

Tours will start from McBryde Hall (building 16 on Campus Map). Parking will be available in the parking lot H, or in spaces along Alumni Drive. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your tour time to check in. If you arrive after your scheduled tour time and the next tour group is full, we may not be able to accommodate you.

While we do our best to accommodate all participants, please be aware of the following disclaimers:

• The tour primarily explores Tillman Hall, a historic building with many staircases. This event is a walking tour, including walking outdoors between buildings and taking stairs from the basement to the 4th floor with limited elevator access.
• The tour also involves strobe lights, loud noises and other special effects.
• There is no age restriction, however, parental discretion and supervision for children ages 12 or under is recommended.

Photos and recordings of Ghost Tours are not allowed. No outside food or beverages are permitted. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

All tickets must be purchased in advance. All sales are final.
