Winter is not a season to push through.
It’s a season to tend, restore, and listen. We’ve been taught to treat winter like an inconvenience — something to endure while trying to live like it’s spring. This class is an invitation to do the opposite. To slow down with the land. To nourish yourself in ways that support long-term health, not burnout.
In this class, we’ll talk about why living with the seasons matters, how winter impacts the body, mind, and nervous system, and what happens when we honor rest instead of resisting it. This is about learning how to winter well — without guilt.
Together, we’ll explore:
Why winter requires different nourishment than warmer seasons
How cold, darkness, and stillness affect energy, digestion, mood, and focus
Simple food and herbal shifts that support winter bodies
Creating winter rhythms that support rest, reflection, and nervous system repair
How slowness is not laziness — it’s biological wisdom
Make & Take: Winter Nourishment Tea
Each participant will create a custom winter tea blend designed to nourish, warm, and support the body through the cold months. We’ll work with grounding, mineral-rich herbs traditionally used for wintering — and you’ll leave with a jar of tea to carry this practice into your daily life.
You’ll leave with:
A handmade winter tea blend
Practical tools for nourishing body, mind, and soul
A deeper understanding of how to live in rhythm with the season
This class is reflective, grounding, and deeply supportive — equal parts education and embodied experience.
Come slow down.
Come tend yourself.
Come learn the medicine of winter.
