Winter wildflowers are the remains of the capsules, seed heads, and pods from the last growing season. Some are quite beautiful. We will identify these remnants and talk about their uses as food sources and over-wintering sites for wildlife.
Park and meet at the north end of the Royal Oak Senior Center parking lot (3500 Marais Ave., Royal Oak, MI 48073).
