Description: In this workshop you will learn the basics of Winter Sowing and leave the workshop with one container of sown seeds, ready for cold stratification and spring growing. We will have containers, soil and native perennial seeds (sneezeweed, New England asters, boneset, ironweed, liatris spicata) available for participants or you can bring your own. When: Monday, December 1st 6pm - 7:30pm

How to Register: There will be a limit of 30 participants, please fill out the link under Tickets to register.

What to Bring (if you have available):
A translucent or opaque container with a lid such as a ½ gallon or one gallon milk jug, a 2 liter soda bottle, plastic salad or soup takeout container (at least 4” deep) that you are comfortable putting holes in.
Scissors sharp enough to cut your container.
One type of native perennial seeds to sow.
