Winter SoundBath with Caitlin Ryan

Join us to slow down, celebrate yourself, your year passing, and savor the fast-paced holiday season with our immersive exploration of winter through sound.

This Audio Alchemy curated sound bath experience will have you drifting off into a deep, restful state with sounds inspired by the Winter season. Caitlin will lead you through some Winter Solstice intention settings and a few gentle stretches that will prepare the body and mind for stillness and rest while she guides you with live music and sound healing using a variety of instruments, including alchemy, frosted quartz, and Tibetan metal singing bowls, bells, gong, chimes, and other instruments inspired by the seasons. All of this while being paired with a cozy winter backing track to add even more seasonal flair.

This event will help soothe and relax the nervous system, dropping you into deeper brain wave patterns, turning on the body's natural healing states. You will leave feeling soothed and blissed out, both in body and mind, and welcome the winter and holiday season with ease and joy.

Please wear anything to make your sound experience more comfortable, and bring an eye mask (silk masks are available for purchase at Glow). We have blankets and bolsters to cozy up with as well.

About The Teacher: Caitlin Ryan, RYT 500, SoundBath Facilitator.

Caitlin began practicing yoga while studying theatre at the College of Charleston and found a deeper practice upon moving to San Francisco in 2006. Growing up a swimmer and athlete, she fell in love with the physical side and depth that yoga brings.

Caitlin has a lifelong love affair with music and sound and was certified as a sound healing therapist with Sound Embrace Institute in 2021. She facilitates sound baths to dive deep into deep meditation and relaxation that helps put the body and mind into its natural healing state. You can find her yoga and sound baths throughout the Bay Area at various studios, private events, and corporates. When not teaching, she can be found chasing adventure, good music, and ocean adventures, and marine conservation work. Her fitness beliefs are to do what feels good in your body and find something that nurtures and challenges you but will still leave you smiling.
