Winter Solstice Painting by Candlelight
About this Event
Join us on Friday 18th December for a candlelit painting workshop marking the Winter Solstice — a beautiful threshold moment between seasons. We’ll create in the soft glow of candlelight, embracing the reflective energy of the darkest day of the year. A gentle, ambient session perfect for slowing down, reconnecting, and welcoming the darker, atmospheric days to come.
Kim will lead the session where you’ll experiment with acrylic paints, colour, texture, and mood in a beautifully lit, intimate setting whilst enjoying a comforting hot cup of cocoa or herbal tea of your choice with a selection of savoury nibbles. You’ll head home with your finished painted canvas.
Whether you’re looking for a mindful moment, a unique gift experience, or simply a cosy night out, this workshop wraps creativity and comfort into one evening.
Proceeds go towards our community art projects, providing mental well-being and creative health, especially for those facing barriers.
Please inform us of any allergies and food intolerance at least 3 days before the workshop. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks.

- You will work on a 30cm x 30cm canvas (or similar).
