Winter Solstice Hike @ Lydick Bog

Celebrate the approach of the winter solstice with a magical afternoon at Lydick Bog Nature Preserve! Join us for a guided winter hike through the quiet landscape of the bog as we explore the seasonal changes around us and reflect on the longest night of the year and the gradual return of the light.
After our hike, we’ll gather around a cozy fire to warm up with hot drinks and s’mores–the perfect way to end an afternoon outdoors.
Whether the trails are dusted with snow or simply wrapped in the stillness of winter, Lydick Bog offers a beautiful place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and welcome the changing season.
Please dress for the weather with warm layers and sturdy, winter-appropriate footwear. We encourage you to bring your favorite mug for cocoa!
